Cake Boss Cafe Grand Opening NYC! Times Square Just Got A Little Bit Sweeter!

No matter who I run into, everyone knows Buddy Valastro, The Cake Boss!
Pretty much everyone in my immediate circle has been obsessed with TLC's The Cake Boss show since it aired a few years ago. Coming from a family where cooking and baking are everyday occurrences, it's wonderful to have Buddy set the baking bar for all of us! If you have ever been fortunate enough to visit Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, NJ you can say that
you have tasted a piece of heaven! Every time my family stops in we are just overwhelmed about what to buy. With three kids the pointing out of goodies is endless and we always walk out with a bunch of
boxes and bags to share with the rest of the family. Coming from a strong Italian background myself
there are few complaints when everyone hears that we have boxes from Carlo's Bakery.

So, you can imagine how thrilled I was when I first heard that TLC's The Cake Boss Cafe would be opening
right in the Port Authority on the corner of 42nd Street and 8th Ave. This is just a perfect accent to anyone's
NYC trip! Recently I was invited to the Grand Opening of The Cake Boss Cafe!
Although I have met a few of Buddy's family before, I have never had the pleasure of
meeting The Cake Boss himself! He was an amazing guy and very true to who we see on TLC's The Cake Boss.

Now, let's get down to what the new Cake Boss Cafe NYC is all about.
Anything you can find in the original Carlo's Bakery you can now find in the Cake Boss Cafe!
There are showcases of baked delights including canolis, cheesecake, cookies, cakes, crumb cake and much more. You can also get a bird's eye view into the kitchen as the treats are prepared before your very eyes.
There are plenty of tables and also an array of Cake Boss souvenirs for purchase. It's a great place to
visit as a tourist and a wonderful stop by for the locals. You may not be able to resist the aroma of deliciousness that emits from this great new addition to NYC.
