Giveaway: A Very Furry Christmas At Sesame Place Now through Dec. 31st!

A Very Furry Christmas
At Sesame Place
and Ticket Giveaway
Now Through Dec. 31st
Langhorne, PA
Recently my family visited Sesame Place in
Langhorne, PA- under two hours from the NYC area.
By now you know what huge fans we are of
Sesame Place. There was not a doubt in my mind that we
would not be at the kick off of A Very Furry Christmas at Sesame Place.
You will not want to miss Sesame Place at this time of year.
It's just breathtaking adorned with festive lights and music.
Our family got in the holiday mood with hot cocoa, hot apple cider and some
delicious gingerbread men cookies. We also could not resist the freshly popped
kettle corn!

I'm not sure who had a better time, the kids or us parents.
Also, do not forget your camera! There are plenty of photo opps
for the perfect Christmas card. Throughout the park you can find
holiday backdrops perfect for a family photo! Santa is on hand, so have
your wish list along with you.
He is located in the his very own North Pole!
There are also an abundance of Sesame Street characters
out and about for meet and greets dressed in their holiday finest clothes!
As far as shows go, you can check out the Christmas/holiday themed shows.
My personal favorite was A Sesame Street Christmas Show, complete with snow!
There are other shows and I would suggest not leaving until you have a chance to see the
Spectacular 1-2-3 Christmas Tree show, where the towering tree near the entrance of the park
is the focus for this music and light show as the characters and songs are featured.
Be prepared to sing along! You will not be able to resist!
Remember to stop by one of the gift shops for something special. There are
tons of Christmas/holiday themed gifts to choose from!
Emily added to her collection with a Christmas Big Bird. He really is adorable
and is very happy in his new home!
If you have a chance to make your way to Sesame Place during December, don't
let it pass you by. It's the perfect place to celebrate your family and the true
magic of Christmas!
Sesame Place, the nation’s only theme park based entirely on the award-winning show
Sesame Street, is currently preparing for its Christmas festivities.  “A Very Furry Christmas” is a one-of-a-kind family-friendly celebration with everyone’s favorite Sesame Street pals. The park  has been transformed into a winter wonderland filled with lights, trees, shows, music, treats, rides and Santa Claus!
Check out the video of our trip. It's less than a minute long and will show you the parks highlights!

“A Very Furry Christmas at Sesame Place is designed to immerse guests in a winter experience that allows them to see the Christmas season through the eyes of our Sesame Street characters” said Robert J. Caruso, Park President. “We hope to bring out the child in everyone with the millions of lights, the garland hung with toys, and the music, shows and special Christmas parade.”

The 20-day event allows guests to experience Sesame Place in a whole new way, with a 25-foot Christmas Tree that lights up the night in sync with Sesame Street holiday tunes, three Christmas shows, a great selection of wintertime treats and Christmas sweets, and awesome holiday shopping at the park’s two gift shops. Santa Claus will also visit the park each evening to hear Christmas wishes and pose for photos at Santa’s Workshop, where kids and adults alike will enjoy talking with a cheerful interactive snowman before being greeted by joyful elf attendants.

“We hope A Very Furry Christmas will become a staple in the region’s family-friendly Christmas entertainment,” said Caruso.

New this year, is the Sesame Place Furry Express, a brand new trackless train ride, which takes guests on a tour through the Twiddlebugs’ Gingerbread Cookie Factory and ends the journey with samples of their famous gingerbread treats.
A Very Furry Christmas will also feature exciting special events, including concerts and character meet and greets.  Imagination Movers, the popular children’s band, will kick off opening weekend with three concerts each day at Sesame Place.  Sesame Place will also celebrate New Year’s Eve with fireworks set to Sesame Street themed music.

A Very Furry Christmas opens at Sesame Place on select dates beginning Saturday, November 17th. The park will also open daily from December 26th through December 31st. For a complete operating schedule please visit sesameplace.com
