Giveaway and Review: The Heart of Christmas

Giveaway and Review
The Heart of Christmas
(2 winners)
Recently I had the chance to review The Heart of Christmas. I am a total
mush when it comes to Christmas movies and I had the feeling
this one was going to be a real tear-jerker.
I waited until everyone was asleep in the house and popped this
movie into my laptop. Honestly, I was hooked five minutes into
The Heart of Christmas. My heart was about to break
halfway through this movie which is based on a true story
of a loving mom and dad whose little boy is diagnosed with
a rare form of leukemia at only 13 months old. His particular form of leukemia
has a very poor survival rate. It made me think
of all the times I spent nursing my own children back to health and the fear
attached to illness. I can't even imagine what these parents and others
faced with the illnesses of their children deal with every
single day. This movie brought both tears of sorrow and of happiness
as I watched the community of real people gather together is support
of Dax. There is love and caring in the world and The Heart of Christmas
shows just how powerful and loved one little tiny boy can be.
It brought the true meaning of the Christmas season to the forefront of my
thinking and caused me to really sit down and be thankful for the small blessings I have every day in my life. If you have a chance to see The Heart of Christmas, please don't let it pass you by.
You will shed a few tears, but your own heart will be just a little bigger by the end of the movie.
